50 Tickets to Brooklyn: (#22)

The List

22. Henry MonteSano, Ann Arbor Pioneer

  • Key member of a strong Pioneer squad that showed tremendous improvement from his freshman to sophomore years
  • The difference in ratings and times is similar (26 points is approximately 1:18, PR went from 17:07 to 15:49)
  • That PR came on an extremely fast course at Hudson Mills, but is still in line with his races in late October/early November
  • Pioneer really showed up during indoor and Henry was no exception, being able to run 4:32 in the 1600m

22. Chloe Wall, Waterford Kettering

  • Chloe burst onto the scene at the 2018 Mott Fall Classic and hasn’t looked back since
  • She closed her freshman year by breaking into the 19’s and nabbing a spot at the State Finals
  • This past season, she began in the 19’s and finished with a few sub-19 races
  • Her best time may have been at River Rat, but her best performance may have been at Oakland County, a 5th place finish
  • During indoor, she was able to run 5:15 for 1600m, nearly matching her best from her freshman year
