First, I’ll get started with the relay projections. Like the distance ones, no real math involved. General thought process is that more recent fast times are better, running and winning in stressful competition is good, having a good lane draw is important, experienced runners on longer relays are a great security blanket, and there’s always a team or two scoring points out of a slower heat.
