Top Returners

Ty Parker

Underwent a major step forward from his sophomore year, lowering his personal best from 16:36 to 15:22. That 15:22 at NXR came on the heels of a 15th place finish in Division 1, for which he is the #6 returner from that race.

Lucas Karbel

Had some of his better races after the MHSAA season was finished, the WLN folks running at RunningLane, NXR, Footlocker. Momentum there led to a track season where he blasted a ton of 9:30’s and 9:40’s in the 3200m, making Lucas a sleeper candidate for All-State.

Evan Rice

Hard to fathom that Evan was hovering around the 20-min. mark for much of his freshman year. Mid-16 efforts at Hansons and the LVC Championship. Now mix in a few 9:45ish times on the track and you’ve got one of the better top-3’s in the State.

Chase Griffith

Ended his sophomore cross campaign with a number of efforts in the 17’s, then put together a solid track season that saw him qualify for Oakland County in the 3200m. Multiple low-10 efforts in that event.

Finn Gammerath

Ninth grade year showed flashes of potential, whether that be a 17:33 at the LVC Championship or a few sub-5’s on the track.

Potential Newcomers

Nathan Bruss

Oakland County Middle School 1600m and 3200m champion, running 4:45 and 10:53.
