How Right/Wrong Was I?

Six for six baby. 128/144 thus far.

WELL PLAYED AT WAGENER PARK

I will highlight one kid from each race for a little writeup. With Regionals and their survive and advance attitude, I’ll try to shout out someone who extended their season another week when they weren’t expected to, or contributed to a team that came in with a clutch performance. Of course, that leaves out many athletes who gave a great effort, and all of the athletes that were winners for toeing the line this weekend. Congrats to all.

Aran Harris, Ubly

Picked quite a day to have her fastest effort of the year. Her 21:49 on Saturday lowered her personal best by over 30 seconds. The first time in the 21’s gave Aran a 15^th place finish, her first All-Region ever (previous years she placed 43^rd, 46^th, and 27^th).

Aiden Fitchett, Dryden

Last year, he got his first taste of the 16’s, this year he came for the school record. Aiden’s 16:36 here at Wagener County Park was of course a personal best, but it also earned him his fourth trip to MIS (with four consecutive top-10’s here at Region 35).
