One of many top-50 runners here. Writeup to come…
Some may argue that Northville gets the most talent and that’s why they win. Nick’s development is a strong counterpoint. As a freshman, largely stayed above 19:00. By the end of his junior year, was knocking on the sub-16 door.
Who thought running 4:22 and placing 14th at State was possible? Ishaan did and that’s all that matters.
More and more evidence that Churchill develops and gets the max out of a kid’s ability. In two years times, Chase went from a freshman running 20+ to a junior closing in the 16:30s.
Highly anticipated freshman was able to observe some of the best teachers, then apply those lessons late. Hit mid-16’s after a grueling cross season, then a number of sub-10 3200m’s on the track. His 9:43 in that latter event ranked 9th among Michigan’s freshman boys.
Bided his time this outdoor season, running fast and unattached. Even with sporadic racing, Logan was able to set PBs in the 800m & 1600m. Regardless if he’s able to compete this fall, that accrued patience will pay off.

Don’t be shocked when the cross accomplishments match those on the track. Twice an 800m/1600m qualifier in the spring. Placed 12th in each event in June.
A gamer when it matters, 3x top-10 at the regional stage (winning Region 7 in ’22) and an All-Stater as well.
Had shown the ability to pick it up a notch at Portage, Jackson. Then a few weeks later, truly turned it up a few more with a sub-19 close.
A 3x State Qualifier from this region, Lucinda comes off her first full track season ever. And within it, a 5:16 1600m.
Of any D1 girl that competed at State, her splits were the most consistent. Running nearly dead on 6:10’s, her 54th place ranked 5th amongst all freshmen girls.
