HIGH FLYIN’ AT HANSONS
Adam Dicken, Canton
He’s baaaack. After missing the first month or so, Dicken is back in action for the Cobras. His season began in the JV race at Jackson, where Adam comfortably rolled to a 17:05 victory. A little more competition here and he was pulled along to a 16:37. Still a bit behind where he was last year, but the important thing is that he’s healthy and making an already strong Canton team even more stout.
Taylor Parsons, Rochester
First at the end of her sophomore year, then last week at Jackson, now at Hansons, Taylor is proving she’s a legitimate mid-19 runner. Here, she was the third Falcon to cross the line, one of a group of Blue n’ Black that placed 6 in the top-20. With Oakland County looming, strength from this spot will be crucial. And given the way she ran at Possum Hollow last year, I think Rochester is in a good spot.
