Entered high school as an extreme talent and hasn’t lived that down
Ran 4:35/9:47 in 8th grade and has both dropped time and racked up the honors in his first two HS seasons
You name it: he’s won it. Saginaw County, Regionals, TVC, Pre-Regionals
A stress fracture delayed his start to the 2020 XC season and although that hampered his times last year, he still managed to capture a Regional title and nab another All-State award
Showed some mid-distance prowess this spring, getting below 2:00 in the 800 and 4:24 in the 1600m
Find yourself a State Meet and you’ll find an Ainsley Workman getting her way to the podium
No matter what the circumstances or how she got there, Ainsley always seems to step up on the big day
Even though I know her as a racer, she’s put up some times as well, with 3 straight years spent in the 18’s and multiple 18:3x efforts
Injuries hindered her track season, but she’s shown speed there too – hitting 5:02 early in her career
She’ll be an important piece in EGR’s bid to reclaim their state title
