Your defending Region 35 Champion. Brody’s 16:21 here was a significant personal best and a race that first established himself as someone to be thought of in the D4 discussion. Since that point, he’s racked up three All-States, one a week later with a 14th place. The other two during a superb double, 8th in the 1600m and 4th in the 3200m.
The final All-Stater in D4, Carson gravitated into the 16’s in his final three races.
Big dark horse in the D4 scene for the upcoming years. After inching down towards the 16’s during cross, underwent a huge breakthrough during track. A state qualifier earned at Deckerville’s regional led to the opportunity to show his value at State, which Sam did to the tune of a 9:54 3200m and 9th place.
Over 5 min. improvement from his debut cross country race. Ripped a 16:58 at Ubly that was mixed within a string of eight straight sub-18 efforts.
Ended his junior season on an extremely high note. Barely missed a sub-17 here then had the best finish of his three State Finals appearances, placing 50th.

Nearly 30 races into her high school career, Katie picked a good time to slip under 20:00, the State Finals. Her 19:50 there was good enough for 25th place. Carried the momentum over to track, where she again qualified in the 1600m.
Last year’s winner and the previous year’s runner-up. Has been in the 19’s each of the past two seasons. Likely a little underrated here because she spends her springs in the sprints. These past few months in the 400m have included a school record and 15th place finish at State.
Just came off her best 3200m season on the track, running 12:40 and placing 28th at D4 State.
A mainstay here in Region 35, placing in the top ten each of the previous three years, and as high as 4th as a freshman and junior.
Began her career with a series of 25:00+ races, then popped a 20:59.9 at her last race. We’ve still got two more years to go!
USA senior has spent all three years in the 21’s, finishing top-10 in Region 35 twice. This spring, nabbed her first ever sub-6 in the 1600m.
